The LaunchPad Recruits team is delighted to announce that we are now working with the hospitality industry’s benevolent charity, Hospitality Action.

Hospitality Action offers a crucial lifeline to people of all ages, working and retired, in the hospitality industry. In 2013, the organisation spent £508,000 supporting 1,696 people in need. 77% of their applicants were under the age of 60, an 18% increase compared to 2012.

At LaunchPad, we believe that Hospitality Action’s hard work, backed by their 175 years of industry experience, is crucial to provide support to workers who need help to resolve issues that affect their personal and professional lives. Their Employee Assistance Programme, which is a proactive, totally confidential scheme, provides that much-needed help.

Hospitality Action receives no government funding and so is dependent on individuals and corporate bodies from within the industry. To support HA’s vital fundraising work, you may also like to attend one of their events across the UK, raise awareness via HA Week (12-18th May) or take part in a sporting challenge.
