Video interviewing is absolutely the next best thing to meeting someone in person. You’re able to build greater rapport, emphasise your point more clearly, use your body language to gesture appropriately and it also eliminates any ambiguity that might occur if you were just speaking over the phone.
The value surrounding implementation of video screening is becoming increasingly more evident. Providing candidates with the opportunity to articulate beyond simply their test results and CV is an essential part of an honest and collaborative recruiting process.
