Perhaps more of a shock, it was also revealed that despite so many candidates using their mobiles to find a job, only 7% of recruiters have a mobile version of their career site while less than 3 per cent have a mobile 'direct job apply' button - meaning even if candidates want to apply via mobile, they are unable to.

We'll also start to see a shift on jobs sites as they start to become more interactive, allowing one-click applications, video interviewing, CV innovation, social interaction and the ability to track an applications from start to finish.
